Giardiniera Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup TPG Chunky Giardiniera, strained
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken or ground beef (optional)
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa or pico de gallo
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the chips.
  4. Add the TPG Chunky Giardiniera, cooked chicken or ground beef (if using), and red onion on top of the cheese-covered chips.
  5. Sprinkle with cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper for extra flavor.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with fresh cilantro, and a drizzle of sour cream and salsa or pico de gallo.
